James Patrick’s 35 years of wide-ranging litigation experience includes complex construction defect matters, real estate, employment, and personal injury claims, representing clients in State and Federal Courts and taking several dozen cases to verdict and through the appellate court.
Prior to joining The Miller Law Firm, James defended housing general contractors, trade subcontractors and architects in construction defect lawsuits, generating important insight for our Association Clients and providing a practical approach in critically evaluating SB 800 claims and implement effective resolution strategies through mediation, settlement negotiation, and trial.
DISTINCTION
James previously served as General Counsel for College America, Inc., and Interim General Counsel for the Oakland Unified School District, as well as guest lecturer of several courses at Santa Clara University and San Francisco State University.
